Here are some Questions you could ask the interviewer.
- What makes your company different from its competitors?
- What would you want me to achieve in the short term as a main objective?
- What are your day - to - day duties? May I have the job specifications in writing?
- Who will be my Supervisor? ( or who will I report to?
- Will I be working alone or in a team?
- What happened to the previous person who held this post? How long did he/she stay in this position? If a short time Why?
- Will there be any travelling required in this job?
- Do you promote internally, Where possible?
- If I were offered the job, Where would you see me in 5 years time?
- When will you be informing the successful candidate of your decision?
- Specific questions about the company or job?
DO NOT ASK ABOUT : anything that has been covered in the interview or application and Do NOT ASK ABOUT the salary at the beginning of the interview- if you need to ask about pay leave it until the very end or the second interview.
