Hi so most people are looking for a job for whatever the reason here are some common Questions that are asked at Interviews.

1. Tell me about Yourself?
2. Why should I hire you?
3. Are you a Team Player?
4. What is your greatest weakness?
5. What would your old Boss say about you?
6. Why do you want to work here?
7. What was your biggest achievement in your last job?
8. What is the most difficult situation you have had to face and how do you tackle it?
9. What are your strengths?
10. Tell me what you know about the company?

Here are some Questions you could ask the interviewer.

1. What makes your company different from its competitors?
2. What would you want me to achieve in the short term as a main objective?
3. What are your day - to - day duties? May I have the job specifications in writing?
4. Who will be my Supervisor? ( or who will I report to?
5. Will I be working alone or in a team?
6. What happened to the previous person who held this post? How long did he/she stay in this position? If a short time Why?
7. Will there be any travelling required in this job?
8. Do you promote internally, Where possible?
9. If I were offered the job, Where would you see me in 5 years time?
10. When will you be informing the successful candidate of your decision?
11. Specific questions about the company or job?

DO NOT ASK ABOUT : anything that has been covered in the interview or application and Do NOT ASK ABOUT the salary at the beginning of the interview- if you need to ask about pay leave it until the very end or the second interview.
